About Mariner’s Cove Condominiums
Mariner’s Cove at Lighthouse Bay is a 75 Unit Waterfront Condominium located at the mouth of the Yahara River on the northeast shore of Lake Mendota, in the Town of Westport. Lake Mendota offers endless spring, summer and fall boating, water sports and lakeside dining. The expansive Cherokee Marsh north of us is nourished by the Yahara River watershed and is a fishing and kayaking paradise!
South is a chain of lakes including Lake Monona and Waubesa, which can be accessed through the locks at Tenney Park on the south shore of Lake Mendota, expanding boating and lakeside dining opportunities. Nearby parks, including Governor Nelson State Park and Cherokee Marsh, offer endless trails through prairie and marsh habitats providing excellent hiking, bird watching and cross-country skiing.
Our property consists of five free standing structures and a clubhouse building that were built in several stages beginning in the early 1990’s. The campus sits on nearly 8 acres of land with approximately 600 feet of water frontage along the Yahara River. Our state-of-the art floating docks allow a boat slip for every condo unit and owners love our convenient kayak launch, all of which are included in our HOA fee.
All five residential buildings are three floors and have elevators in each of those buildings. Unit sizes vary from one – three bedrooms. All units have lovely sunporches with peaceful views. Our garages are free standing with each condo having from one-three garages. We do not currently have EV charging capability on our campus, but charging stations are available in the area. All owners have access to our extensive amenities including pools, spas, tennis & pickle ball courts, fitness center, sauna, and a clubhouse for parties, with no additional fees.
Our Association is managed by an active Board of Directors with the assistance of Apex Property Management Company.
